Dinosaur Color by Number – printable PDF cover

What’s inside

Six Dinosaur color-by-number pictures: fossil, fern, bones, triceratops, stegosaurus and nest. Every picture has a color key at the bottom of the page. Kids find a number, look it up in the key and color that area, and the picture appears as they go.

  • 6 numbered pictures, one big picture per page
  • A color key with crayon names on every page
  • Two answer pages with every picture colored in
  • Simple crayon colors only: blue, brown, green, light blue, light green, orange, pink, red, tan

Who it is for

Made for kids about 5 to 9 who know their numbers to 7. The pictures use the same friendly 3D characters as our other Dinosaur printables, drawn as bold, clean line art. Small areas without a number can stay white or be colored any way kids like.

Ideas for using it

  • A calm activity that also practices number recognition
  • An early-finisher page or a quiet-time folder
  • Color one picture a day for a week

Print at 100% on US Letter paper (A4 works with “Fit to page”). The pages are black and white with a small colored key, so they print fine on any printer.
