- Medium: three-digit subtraction with regrouping, for example 713 – 653.
- Challenging: multiplication facts from 2 × 2 to 10 × 10, for example 7 × 6.

More math: the Fall 4th grade math, the easier Fall math worksheets, all 3rd grade math worksheets and every Fall printable.
Plan a short autumn practice session
Choose addition, subtraction or multiplication rather than requiring every level at once. Activity pages are 1, 3 and 5; their answers are on pages 2, 4 and 6. Each activity page contains 12 problems, for 36 problems in the set.
Use the answer key to talk through regrouping
For 216 + 157, start with 6 + 7 = 13: write 3 ones and carry 1 ten. Then 1 + 5 + 1 = 7 tens, followed by 2 + 1 = 3 hundreds. The result is 373. After this example, let the learner try the next problem before checking.
The black-and-white option repeats the same problems. For another third-grade theme, see Space Adventure math. Browse all 3rd grade math worksheets.
