What’s inside
A spring I Spy printable for kids in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. Three count-and-find pages from Easy to Challenging, each with its own answer page.
How much there is to find
The scenes get busier at every level: the Easy page has 6 kinds of Spring pictures and 30 things to count in all; the Medium page has 8 kinds of Spring pictures and 42 things to count in all; the Challenging page has 10 kinds of Spring pictures and 54 things to count in all. The answer pages show every total.
Who it is for
It suits 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders (about ages 7 to 10), and it builds visual scanning, counting and attention to detail without feeling like a drill. A note for grown-ups: Bees, ladybugs, frogs and robins make this a good fit for a nature walk or a garden unit.
Ideas for using it
- A partner game: who finds them first?
- A counting center
- Part of a spring, plants or weather unit
Print at 100% on US Letter paper (A4 works with “Fit to page”). This set will also be part of the Spring Mega Pack, which collects every spring activity in one PDF.
