2nd Grade Math Worksheets

These free math worksheets cover the addition and subtraction that 2nd graders practice all year. Every set has three levels of twelve problems and an answer page for each level, and every theme has its own friendly characters.

What the sets practice

• Easy: addition with sums up to 30.
• Medium: subtraction with numbers from 10 to 60.
• Challenging: adding two two-digit numbers, such as 47 + 38.

That matches the 2nd grade goal of adding and subtracting within 100. The same sets also work for review at the start of 3rd grade, they are labelled Grades 1-2 because the Easy level also suits 1st graders.
