Practice pencil control with these free tracing pictures for kids. Each page has a large dashed outer shape, simple dashed inside details and a small picture idea.
What is inside
- Eight worksheets: a bee, ladybug, turtle, whale, fox, duck, rocket and balloon.
- Trace the outer outline and the eyes, smiles and other simple guide details.
- Color your finished picture and add extra details if you like. The guides simplify the original characters rather than copying every small line.
How to use
For ages 4-6 with adult help. Start with a comfortable grip and trace slowly. The balloon and whale can take extra practice. Print at 100% on US Letter, or use Fit to page on A4. The large tracing shapes use dark gray dashed lines; the small picture ideas are in color. There is no separate black-and-white edition or answer key.
More pencil practice: pre-writing lines, shape tracing and alphabet tracing.
